My work with the historic environment centres on helping places speak clearly — to planners, funders, and the communities who live among them. I support projects that engage with heritage settings in ways that are both sensitive and strategic, whether through formal reporting or creative storytelling.
A core focus of my practice, and ongoing research, is the intersection between physical heritage and the intangible: how stories, memory, and meaning are carried in place. From significance assessments and character appraisals to interpretive planning and public value cases, I offer external insight that helps organisations navigate complexity, clarify purpose, and deliver outcomes that honour both fabric and feeling.
